I purchased a used Remington Model 33 stock to recondition my dad's old rifle that he had as a boy which I have inherited. The original stock was shortened and in pretty bad shape, and though I do not intend to shoot the rifle very much, I wanted it restored for sentimental reasons. The replacement stock had also seen better days, but it was full-length and in decent condition, clearly old but better than the original. I could tell that the original owner was a smoker; the gunstock reeked, but that isn't Hog Island's fault. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, the fast and well-packed shipping, and will not hesitate to do business with Hog Island again.
