Replacement Barrel for Star Super SM |

Been having trouble with frequent FTE issues on my little Star Super SM .380, took to a smith to have the chamber polished, inspect the extractor, replace extractor spring... nothing worked. Read in an online forum that some of the barrels were manufactured 'out of true' and could contain small pockets that allowed the spent casing to 'stick' in the chamber after detonation but would release once cooled and reformed to original shape. I have installed the barrel but have yet to test it, although cartridges seem to fit better in the new barrel.
As for Hog Island, the price was fair, even with shipping. Shipping was prompt and I am happy with the purchase thus far. Will know more after first range report, but that won't be a reflection of Hog Island.
